Program Details

This program is designed to promote social-emotional learning and responsible behavior among students.

Student, in-school workshops are available annually for students in grades 1-12 on topics, such as, handling emotions (gr. 1–4) , appreciating yourself & respecting others (gr. 5–6), setting goals (gr. 7–8) and working as a team (gr. 11-12).

Love Helps, inc. schedules the workshops through principals and school counsellors at participating schools. Workshops are conducted for one class at a time and typically last 45 minutes. Suggested follow up activities are also given to teachers to further reinforce the key messages of the workshops.

Objectives

Our objectives for the 2018-2019 school year are to:

• Conduct 30 student workshops in 10 public schools for 1,000 students.
