Triple “A” Achiever® Awards
Program Details
This program is designed to encourage elementary students to do well in academics, attendance and attitude.
Each grading period during the school year, teachers at participating elementary schools identify their students who quality for the Triple "A" Achiever Awards based on the program criteria. Love Helps, inc. provides teachers with award certificates for each award winning child. Each award certificate contains a letter of commendation from a local leader such as, Mayor Freddie O'Connell, Governor Bill Lee, Senator Marsha Blackburn, or Senator Bill Hagerty.
In addition, each teacher is paired with a caring, community volunteer from a Nashville-area business who sends each achiever an encouraging card and personal letter with small gifts (provided by Love Helps, inc.) during the subsequent grading period.
Objectives
Our objectives for the 2024–2025 school year are to:
- Distribute 8,000 awards to K–5th students in 11 public schools;
- Distribute 20,000 personal cards and letters of encouragement from volunteers to 4,500 participating students.
