In August, more than 200 volunteers from several local businesses, like HCA, Parallon, Ardent Health Services and many more, helped us send more than 4,500 encouraging cards to more than 4,500 elementary students in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools to encourage them to do well in school this year as part of our Triple "A" Achiever Awards program.  Each grading period students will be recognized for their good progress, and volunteers will continue to send them encouraging cards and letters.  Last year, more than 8,000 awards and 21,000 cards and letters were distributed to students in 11 schools.
