Reading Volunteers Share the Love of Reading!

More than 30 reading volunteers for Love Helps, inc. started reading weekly in kindergarten classrooms in seven Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools to promote literacy, positive character and social-emotional learning.  Volunteers read a new book each week, ask a few questions and recite a motto with the students during their 15 minutes in classrooms.  Volunteers, teachers and students are excited about the program and are enjoying the fun books from Love Helps, inc.'s special collection.

We thank all of our volunteers for participating is this program to bring the joy of reading to children!  We would like to add more volunteers; so, anyone interested in joining us to read at lunchtime weekly in a kindergarten classroom in Nashville, contact Dean Baker at db@LoveHelps.org or visit http://LoveHelps.org/read.
