Luncheon guests bring holiday cheer!

The 2016 Love Helps, inc. Holiday Luncheon presented with Lee Company was held on December 1st at the William J. Fleming Center at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, TN.  We were pleased to honor several of our supporters at this our 21st annual event.

Mr. Gerry Vance, Executive Vice President with Lee Company, was presented with the Edwin C. Rodgers, Jr. Heart of Distinction Award for his long-time support of Love Helps, inc., as well as, other charities in Middle Tennessee.  Hereford Dooley Architects was honored as the 2016 Corporate Partner of the Year.  Tom Bauman, Senior Interior Designer with Earl Swensson Associates, was honored as the 2016 Volunteer of the Year.  Tom Joy Elementary was presented with the School Partner of the Year award.

There were also some surprises!  We lost our caterer shortly before the event!  We thank Chef's Market for stepping in on short notice and providing a wonderful meal for our guests!  We also lost our executive director who was unable to attend due to illness.  Cindy Baker, Assistant Program Director with Love Helps, inc., did a wonderful job stepping up to the challenge of carrying the torch and making sure that the show went on despite the absence.

We thank all of our guests, sponsors and volunteers who made this year's event another big success!  More event wrap up details are available at http://LoveHelps.org/lunch-wrapup.
